The Lacuna Expanse is a online space strategy game that can be played on the web or thru a free iPhone app! Think SimCity meets Masters of Orion. Play as an isolationist and build a massive city on a single planet, or try to take over the expanse!

dsc69	Posted on March 31, 2012 The Lacuna Expanse has been adding lots of great new features. Alliances of the expanse can control Space Stations and impose laws on stars within the expanse and control the players within those stars. You can make it where your alliance is the only one to control colonization of planets, mining of asteroids, and more. Come try it out for a day and let us know how you like it.

dsc69	Posted on January 15, 2012 This game is awesome. Kinda a mix between Civilization and Master of Orion. The battle system is awesome in that you have to employ multiple strategies of ships and spying in order to steal a planet. A interactive set of 4 AI empires that you can attack but will also attack you back. If you are looking for a challenge, then this is the game for you! Try it out today.

Posted on February 01, 2011 This game is excellent. It is in-depth, constantly being updated, and very fun. This is for the serious strategy gamer, but anyone can pick it up. Once you start this game you cant stop.

Posted on November 01, 2010 Nice complexity and look. The Ajax works well for computers but doesn't do well on my droid. The game does take a while to play and suffers from bad UI. I think an intention of the game design is to maximize the time you spend managing your empire.
Posted on October 13, 2010 I was really surprised at how well designed this game is. It's different because it's not necessarily focused on direct combat and uses spies and espionage as the main method of dealing with enemies. The coolest things for me are the massive economy that lets you buy/sell anything in game and the fact that there is a free iPhone app available that lets me play the game anywhere! Good game folks!
