Midgard Arena is a free-to-play anime idle MMORPG that runs entirely in your browser, on desktop or phone. There is no download or install necessary. Explore the world, and get into turn-based battles on shared maps, with the goal of building up long-term collections.
Heroes, parties and maps
You summon 35 unique heroes across five rarities. Each hero has its own identity, its own art and its own skill kit.
From there you build a party of four and socket runes to dictate how they will fight. Your team explores ten hand-drawn maps holding more than sixty monsters including cave beetles and zone bosses.
Idle exploration, tactical battles
Exploration runs itself. Your party walks the map, picks fights and collects trophies while you watch or do something else.
If a fight starts, it turns into a turn based tactical battle with guard, parry, and the elements. If you decide to close the tab, you will have an offline quota, which will continue the hunt until you decide to go back.
A shared world with progression tracking
The world is shared by all players, so you will see other players on the same map as you explore the island. The bestiary, trophy codex and leaderboards track how far each hunter has pushed into the island.
