New World Mafia is the text mafia game many players grew up on, but better than the original. 2026 keeps all the great mechanics of crimes, cars, jail, crews and the kill list, adds live combat and a busier city around them, and runs in your browser on your phone with one thumb.
Pick a side
Change the side of a matter which you would like to play as (Criminal, Clean cop or Bent cop).
- Criminal. Pull crimes, steal cars, run rackets, rob safes and climb from Hobo to Godfather.
- Clean cop. Work patrol shifts, close cases, raid chop shops and lock the city's worst up.
- Bent cop. Wear the badge and take the money, with your own missions, your own rules and the risk of getting caught.
Combat and fights
Every street fight, mugging and boss battle takes place in a live hand-drawn noir scene. Tommy guns lighting up the street, katanas land, blood splatters and crits hurt hard. You choose how you fight as it happens, patch yourself up mid-fight, or run.
- Skills to 99. Attack, defence, firearms, explosives, hacking and more, with a full combat triangle.
- Weapons and armour. Seven gear slots, two shops and kit worth chasing.
- Bosses. Take on Havana's bosses at their own places, plus world bosses the whole city fights together.
- Staked PvP in Havana. A lawless city with no police and no jail, better crimes, and the risk of losing everything you are wearing.
A city that's busy when you log in
- Crews and turf. Take neighbourhoods on a real map, declare enemies and go to war.
- Cars. Steal them, tune every part in the garage and race them. Five Mythics exist, and the odds of stealing one are tiny.
- Live casino tables. Blackjack, poker, roulette and more, played against real people.
- Organised crimes and open jobs. Team up with whoever is on and pull the big ones together.
- Money that moves. A stock market, crypto, a Dark Web, a sportsbook on real matches, and Swiss banking for when the cops come knocking.
- Make it yours. Hundreds of userbars, frames, name effects and banners, with most of them earned rather than bought.
Founder access and release
Join before launch and you are a Founder for good. The game resets at launch but you keep your founder medal, name bar, avatar frame and title through it, plus Gems on top once it is live.
No one who joins after launch will ever get them. the next 2 tests are Alpha now, Beta in November and the full release will be 1 January 2027.
