Ultiro keeps updating almost every day. Here is everything that changed in the last week, for anyone who opens the link today.
Trade with other players
- Every city now has a Market Broker on its plaza. Put your goods up at your own price, buy what other players are selling, or place a buy order and let the sellers come to you. A bell rings when something of yours sells.
- Vendors now buy raw loot: hides, meat, ore, logs, fish and monster trophies sell for a Coin or a few each.
- Salvage: break unwanted gear into half of its materials, anywhere, even mid-hunt.
- Pickaxes in every metal, and a better axe, pickaxe or rod now adds up to +10 to its gathering skill.
Riding and gifts
- Every new account gets a welcome gift: play your first 30 minutes and a blessed riding horse is yours for three days.
- Horses, alpacas, bears and ostards now come in hide colours of their own.
- A daily calendar with 20 gifts a month: play 10 minutes a day and take the next gift at a bank.
- A new rare Potion of Invisibility hides you for 30 seconds; every boss can drop it.
Playing together
- A party no longer falls apart when its leader leaves: the crown passes to whoever has been in it longest.
- Invite from the target frame or with /invite; /ignore hides a player everywhere.
- Self-defence is no longer murder: if they struck first, killing them costs you nothing.
- Your summon now has its own health bar, and a tap on it lets your heals land on it.
Fair fights
- Our mistake: with enough Agility a dagger could strike up to ten times a second. That is fixed; nothing changes for anyone below the very top.
- All nine bosses now hit and dodge like bosses. They are a group's fight.
- Monsters returning to their camp now walk in from a distance instead of appearing next to you.
