Ael Myr Online

A full-loot, PvP-forward MMORPG, built as a love letter to our favorite old-school MMO sandboxes, the ones where everything felt possible. We want to bring back a style of play that has all but disappeared, one that just felt right, and modernize it while staying true to its roots.

Ael Myr Online is a free game that you play in your browser, it is nothing to download. Everyone plays in one world, on one shard and the game is in open alpha and changes every week.

How it plays

• No levels or classes. Skills rise as you use them: swing a sword and Swordsmanship climbs, bandage a friend and Healing does. You can hold 720 skill points in all, so every character is a mix you choose.
• Full-loot PvP. Outside town, anyone can attack anyone. When you die, you rise as a ghost, and everything you were carrying stays on your body, where anyone can take it. A shrine brings you back to life, and what you keep in your bank box or lock down in your house stays safe.
• Guarded towns. Attack an innocent in town and a shout of "guards" brings one to cut you down. The color of your name shows your reputation: blue for innocent, grey for a criminal, red for a murderer.

What there is to do

Fight other players, or the bandits, warbands and dragons out past the walls. Learn magic. Mine ore, smelt it and forge weapons and armor.

* Tame animals. Ride horses. Pick pockets. Dye your clothes. Make music and play it on the lute. Own a house. Shop at the auction house. Groups of up to ten can share what they find.

What you need

You will need a computer with a up to date Google Chrome (Edge, Brave and Opera work okay too). Just pick a name and password and you are in, no email to confirm.

However, we have the free desktop app available for Windows. Phones and tablets are not supported yet.
