Crime City

Crime City is a free-to-play mafia MMORPG that runs entirely in the browser with no download, no install, and no client. You start as a street thug with $1,000 and work up through robberies, training, drug labs, a bullet factory, an in-game stock market, street racing, a casino, and gang warfare.

How progression works

You start as a street thug with $1,000 and work up through robberies, training, drug labs, a bullet factory, an in-game stock market, street racing, a casino, and gang warfare. Within a season, death is permanent.

The seasonal reset

The difference is the season. The city runs in 25-day rounds, and when a round closes the whole city wipes and every player restarts at level 1.

That is a direct answer to the complaint that defines this genre: the veterans are years ahead and a new player can never catch up. Join at a season start and you are level with everyone, because everyone is starting over too.

Season 1 ran with 222 players and closed on 27 August 2026. Season 2 opens on 1 September 2026.

Free play and $CRIME

There is an optional Solana token called $CRIME used for season prizes and some premium actions, but the game is genuinely free. A full season is playable with no wallet and no crypto interaction of any kind.
