Tappelu: The Ultimate Gladiator Manager

Tappelu is a free gladiator-manager game for your browser. You run a team of fighters, set their tactics, and every day you'll watch one 5-on-5 match play out on a hex board. You can play it in the browser, or on your phone or PC.

Seasons and matches

The seasons last for a month, and feature simulated matches of the 5-on-5 in a 22-round regular season, best-of-3 playoffs, and a cup tournament. The matches are played on a hex board, and every match is available as a full replay you can watch from the beginning to the end.

You can see the full statistics for every match, the leaderboards for the result in the league and the season and an all-time hall of legends.

Build your team

A team of fighters. You can sign up, equip and set tactics for the fighters which influence their decisions. Fighters can be trained and leveled up over time.

• Fighter careers. Fighters age, retire, and sometimes get injured or die. Death is permanent.
• Equipment. Equip better weapons, armor, and spell books, then sell what you do not need on the item exchange.
• Arena management. Run your arena, build upgrades, adjust ticket prices, and provide entertainment to make your team popular with the crowds.
• Sponsors. Sign sponsors who pay you for playing the way they like to see it, whether that means wins, a packed home crowd, or fielding as many goblins as possible.

Compete against other managers

Tappelu includes several ways to compete with other managers beyond the daily schedule. Team-building happens under restrictions such as a salary cap and roster limit, and managers can also interact directly through trades, betting, and live matches.

• Bid for free agents against other teams under a salary cap and roster limit.
• Trade fighters and money with other managers.
• Bet on tomorrow's matches for extra income.
• Challenge another manager to a live exhibition and control your fighters yourself while other teams spectate.
