Overview

What you'll find

The Fifth Family is a free persistent browser-based mafia RPG where the city runs whether you are logged in or not. Rivals climb, markets move, and your empire earns while you sleep.

Earn your way up the city

Ten districts and one hundred crimes make up the city. You do not level into new ground: every district is locked behind a named boss, and the only way past is to master all ten crimes where you stand and then put him down.

Access is earned through play, not experience points. Every crime has its own mastery track, its own loot table, and its own way of going wrong.

You can push your Heat for bigger payouts and watch your success rate fall with it. One failed job resets the lot.

Smuggling, arena, and blood bonds

Smuggling runs on couriers across a market that moves. There are thirty contraband goods to buy low in one district and sell high in another, and your pet carries the load.

Every animal has its own cargo capacity and travel speed. A pigeon is quick and carries almost nothing, while a bigger hauler takes the weight and takes its time. Pick wrong for the route and customs is waiting.

The Arena runs seven-day ranked seasons against real players. Your gear freezes the moment you enter and stays frozen until the season ends, so preparation matters as much as activity.

You get six pages a day, with four real opponents on each and a named boss behind them. That boss carries an item that exists nowhere else in the game and can never be traded.

Blood Bonds pair you with exactly one other player and let you climb a shared ladder of lasting bonuses. Break it and you both lose everything it earned, and the one who broke it wears a public Betrayer mark.

Nothing is hidden

Combat formulas are published inside the game, live, against your own statistics. Block, dodge, and critical chance are all continuous curves on your own stats, so every point moves the number.

There are no breakpoints to solve and no wasted investment. Nothing is hidden.

Build something nobody else has

There are one hundred career paths across five families, 114 Academy courses, 95 recruitable operatives, and a 189-node bloodline tree.

Gear includes thirty collectable sets across 210 pieces. The Forge can push an item to +150% of its base stats if your nerve holds.

Two players at the same level look nothing alike.

Also inside

  • Twenty multi-stage heists. Additional structured criminal runs beyond district crimes.
  • Player-run trading floor. A market run by players.
  • Chop shop and races. A chop shop with 175 part templates feeding fifteen street races.
  • More city systems. Ten district crime vaults, a bounty board, a stock exchange, and six casino games.
  • Always available casinos. The casino games stay open even while you are in hospital.

The Fifth Family is free to play with no download required. Play in any modern browser, or through the iOS and Android apps with the same account and the same city wherever you are.

A game that has some room for improvement but as is expected for the age. But I must say for a barely 5 week old game, it's hitting serious levels already. I love it, very addicting and certainly has new features it claims that other games doesn't.

Bad game. Pay to win and when you do pay your stuff gets taken by Devs because they think you've progressed too fast. Inexperienced Devs and mods.
