World Powers Game is a free, real-time strategy game played on a map of the real world in your browser or on your phone. Find your nation in any of the provinces of Earth, grow it into a superpower, and compete live against real players and AI nations at the same time.

Build your nation on Earth

Pick a starting province anywhere on a fully playable 3D globe. Resources play a big factor in the game, so fields of farmland, oil fields, mining regions, coastlines, rivers and mountains are of importance.

Enlarge your borders and colonize new lands. Build up your provinces from the empty fields up to farm, industry, city and glittering metropolis. Set taxes and budgets. Choose democracy, monarchy, dictatorship or communism. Pass laws. Win elections. Manage debt and inflation. Trade on a live world market. Build wonders of the world. War, weapons and defense

Get a group of friends together and create an Alliance Team, trade with each other, sign trade agreements, send aid to each other, and trade provinces and resources with each other. You can also have private negotiations by letter. You can also make your own flag and tag to identify your alliance with.

The longer a trade route has been active the stronger it becomes. Breaking a trade route can have serious repercussions for the nation involved. In the World Council, every nation has a vote to sanction aggressors, freeze their assets, order ceasefires, guarantee the security of victims and to pass world laws such as nuclear bans, tariff wars, free market weeks and world truces.

There is a new law going to the vote every day. You can run spy operations to steal technology, sabotage industry, rig elections, plant fake news or start a rebellion.

A living world with constant competition

Every few days, nations compete against each other in Athletics, Science Expo, and Culture Festival. Health, technology, and education can multiply every dollar you invest, and winning gold, silver, and bronze gives you prestige, approval and bragging rights.

Earthquakes, hurricanes, wildfires, and floods strike real provinces. Make sure your people are happy or they might decide to declare independence from your empire.
