Hello, welcome to another Blood Money Empire development update. Thank you again to everyone who has been playing, reporting bugs and sending feedback, because your feedback during the beta is helping me decide where improvements are needed most.
Development is continuing across the game. Last time, I focused on criminal activities, fraud and vehicle theft.
This week, we're heading somewhere a little different.
Inside the casino
The casino isn't just somewhere to spend your money. In Blood Money Empire, it forms part of the wider player economy, with several casino operations capable of being owned by players.
Take a seat, place your bets and hope the house isn't about to take everything back.
Slots
Sometimes you don't need a complicated plan. Choose your stake, spin the reels and see where they land.
Slot machines offer a range of betting options, with different combinations producing different payouts. There's another side to them, too: slot machines can be player-owned.
That means while one player is trying to hit the jackpot, another player could be running the machine they're playing on.
Roulette
If you'd rather choose exactly where your money goes, there's roulette. Place bets across the table, combine different wagers and then leave the final decision to the wheel.
Bet on individual numbers or spread your money across broader outcomes. The more you're willing to risk, the more painful the wrong number can become.
And just like the slot machines, roulette tables can be part of a player's empire. Sometimes it's better to own the table than bet on it.
Empire Gold
Not every trip to the casino needs a roulette wheel or a set of reels. Empire Gold is Blood Money Empire's instant-win scratch card.
Each card costs $2,500 and gives you the chance to win prizes including cash, ammunition, vehicles or credits. Match three symbols to claim the prize.
You can purchase a limited number of cards each day, making Empire Gold another opportunity to test your luck when you're away from the streets.
More ways to take a chance
Those aren't the only games available. The Blood Money Empire casino also includes:
- Blackjack
- Rock Paper Scissors
- Horse Racing
- Weekly Lotto
Whether you're putting money on the roulette wheel, backing a horse or buying a lotto ticket, there are plenty of ways to risk some of your criminal earnings.
Just remember: The house usually has a reason for staying in business.
Development continues
While this week's update is focused on the casino, development hasn't stopped elsewhere. I'm continuing to work on new content, improvements to existing systems, balancing, bug fixes and larger features that will be revealed properly when they're ready.
Blood Money Empire is still in public beta, and there is plenty more to come.
