Dead Kingdoms is a persistent, shared-world text MMO where the sun went out in the eleventh year, and nothing has left since.
One world, shared consequences
This is one world for everyone. Resource seams deplete globally and grow back over real hours, so what you take from a seam, someone else cannot.
Citizens keep schedules, get sick, and die, and their seats can be taken by players.
What you do
You search the ground, harvest nodes, hunt, and craft.
Who it is for
If you miss old MUDs, Cantr II, Torn, or Kingdom of Loathing and want something actually consequential, Dead Kingdoms is it.
No kings. Only walls. No hand-holding.
