Infamis is a free 18+ persistent browser-based game (PBBG) set in a fictional near-future US city under crime rule. It is live in early beta, playable on desktop or mobile, and needs a free account. No download is required.
Your first steps are staged street crimes, skill progression and vehicle theft pursuits. As you build up, you can plan crew heists, collect and repair cars, customise and dispatch a fleet, craft and equip gear, and trade with other players. Round-based combat, rivalries and reputation add another layer to the city. Animal companions can be trained through Pet Handling, bred and entered in pet battles.
There are twelve skills: Crime, GTA, Scavenging, Botany, Salvaging, Armsmithing, Chemistry, Medicine, Combat, Jail Break, Pet Handling and Heists. Growing supplies, scavenging, salvaging and crafting give you different ways to progress. Camp jobs, Todays Work, supply contracts, City Operations and login rewards give you regular goals. Banking, player markets, the Notice Board and Hall of the Infamous are also live.
