The biggest batch of updates in MD's history so far.

A major wave of updates has been released in MagicDuel, opening the Evolution Shop map, increasing the number of progress points that can be reached from 155,000 points, completing resource chains and updating the minting of coins. These updates are focused on closing existing gaps in the game, introducing new rewards for players and creating role-based tools for the community.

Evolution Shop and evo points

The Evolution Shop is now open. It adds a large new system with many items and features, and it is described as a museum of MD content with many new, previously unseen items and features.

The reachable progress point pool has been expanded to 9,300 points (155,000). Also, the points pool for Evo has been rebalanced to include both quicker, high-reward progress branches as well as longer, steady progress branches that will grant points to players over time.

The shop in-game is not random and some of the items in the shop have a price that is intentionally high, so players should choose their purchases carefully. The activity in the game has been turned into useful tools for building roles in the game and the player can provide feedback on any issues that they encounter in the game, as well as any issues that they experience that are not related to the game's design or development by contacting Mur.

Resource chains and branch fixes

Several of the resource chains have been completed from start to finish with resources like cauldrons and others. Several of these branches have been completed completely as well and there has been a detailed forum post sharing the results of these complete branches for those who wish to provide feedback on the construction process.

Also, the update to the game resulted in the need for several fixes to various branches of the MD code repository, addressing issues related to resource management and gathering. These fixes aim to close the gaps in the game's current functionality and make it more stable overall.

Coin minting facility

The coin minting facility in the old shop has undergone improvements. Players can now exchange multiple types of notes, coupons and coins with each other. Also, players can create coupons with specific values for the purpose of trading larger amounts of currency at once.

Places like the auction house still require coins to make purchases but the coupons that are earned in these locations can be exchanged for coin values at any time.
