This update introduces Population 2.0, new field and tax options, a new law, new items, voting rewards, bug fixes, and tailor balancing changes.
Population and fields
The NPC population system has been expanded with morale, food, and tax changes. In the future, the NPC population will be able to be converted into soldiers, but they will inherit the population's morale.
The treasurer can now set taxes on coin collection from NPCs. It is also now possible to put your field up for sale, assign a name to your own field, and change the field type.
When you change the field type, all extra buildings will decrease by 1 level. In the treasurer's office, it is now possible to have detailed analyses of the city's cash flow.
Law, items, and trade
A new law makes it possible to block access to all residents of a city or impose an additional tax exclusively on them. The city market can no longer be closed to everyone; instead, you now select which city to close your market to through a trade embargo.
To have the same effect as before, you will need to embargo all cities. Several new items were also added for production, transport, and inventory capacity.
- Grapes. Can be used to produce wine in a kitchen.
- Wine. Can be used to increase the population's morale in a kitchen lvl .
- Simple backpack. Increases capacity by 12 kg and is made by a tailor lvl 10.
- Simple wheel. Added as a new item.
- Light cart. Increases capacity by 80 KG but reduces speed by 20 km/h, and is made by a carpenter lvl 14.
Voting rewards and fixes
It is now possible to support the game by voting for it on some sites in exchange for in-game rewards. There are four types of rewards: experience points, fatigue points, coins, and contribution points.
Votes on sites grant an instant reward, while reviews require a manual check by the administrator. Purchase offers are now correctly displayed in every case.
- Fixed the bug that prevented scrolling of notifications.
- Fixed the bug that did not show the building name in construction sites.
Thanks were given to Yaroslav, Nemesi, Alistair, and Katana for donations, and to Hugs, Ikisk, and KWM for reported issues.
Tailor balancing
Tailor productions were reviewed. The bag now increases inventory capacity by 4kg instead of 8.
A tailor of level 10 can now produce the small backpack and the simple backpack. Cotton shirt, cotton pants, shoes, and belt now have new requirements.
