World Events

Some fights are too big for one lord. World Events rally the realm against a common enemy, and every hand that helps is remembered.

What a World Event is

A World Event is a scheduled event that takes place in the entire realm. It's something that happens outside of your camp and battlefield. When one opens, every lord online can join the same fight against the same foe, at the same time.

No army to muster. No soldiers at risk. Just your hero and your resolve.

The first of these is The Wraithcall, an all-hands-on-deck assault on a horde of Wraiths that threatens to overrun the realm. The realm takes the horde down together, in a single percentage that everyone can watch fall.

Fighting together

Every lord that joins goes straight at the horde, and any that are wounded can be healed by someone else, rather than being left to die alone.

It's all hands. No one lord can do the fighting, nor does any one lord need to.

Victory

If you can wipe the horde before the timer runs out, everyone who was there gets a piece of the reward: honor, and a title next to their name until the next Wraithcall. Everyone who showed up gets a piece of the victory, not just whoever struck last.

If time runs out first, there is no honor, no title. There is only what you earned.

After the dust settles

After the event, boards show who fought the hardest and who helped the most. The realm remembers its champions even when the horde is gone.

There will be more World Events. Each will have its own shape, and its own enemy, but all will call on the same simple truth: some threats only fall when a realm answers together.
