Nopilas is a free browser space strategy game, no ads, nothing to buy. Production, building and research advance once every round hour, so ten minutes a day is enough, your first planet will come already built with 72 hours of protection.

My account takes 30 seconds and my first planet is already built. I begin with 72 hours of protection.

• Build. Develop your planet with 19 buildings, from the vitarium refinery to the robot factory.
• Research. Advance through a technology tree of 21 researches that unlock units, ships and orbital stations.
• Arm. Command 14 units, planetary defence, and four squadrons across a 100 × 100 universe.
• Ally. An alliance changes intelligence, defence and the rankings.
• Watch. Replay every battle again in 3D - space battle, landing and ground combat - straight from your battle report.
• Pirate lairs. Pirate lairs launch real raids across the map.

Rebuilt from the archives

Nopilas was a Québec browser game that was launched in 2005. The server went dark in 2008 and the source code was lost.

In 2026 the tutorial, forum, 2006 changelog and the battle reports were rebuilt from what Wayback Machine had kept. Every rule number that comes from an archived page is tagged [source].
