What you'll find

OGameXL is a free browser-based space strategy MMO. You start with a single home planet and a handful of resources. Everything after that is your call: mine deuterium, climb the research tree, colonize new worlds, fortify your defences, or build a fleet and take what your neighbours refused to defend. No client, no launcher, no install. Open a tab and your empire keeps running while you are away.

Build an economy

Metal mines, crystal refineries, deuterium synthesizers, solar plants and fusion reactors. Balance energy, storage and production across every planet you own, then watch the numbers compound.

Research the tree

Drive systems, weapon and shielding tech, espionage, computer science and more. Each level opens new ships, new reach and new tactics. Your tech profile is your playstyle.

Fight real battles

Spy first, then commit. Fleet combat runs over multiple rounds with rapid fire, shields and hull damage, leaving debris fields to harvest and moons to claim. A built-in combat simulator lets you test a strike before you launch it.

Expand and expedition

Colonize across the galaxy, run transport lines between your worlds, and send expeditions into uncharted space for resources, derelict fleets, dark matter, or something considerably less friendly.
