The realm has been buzzing this week with a wave of updates, reforms, and farewells. Whether you've been away for a season or you log in daily, now is the time to step back through the gates: MagicDuel is changing fast.
React and be seen
A brand-new Reactions system has arrived, letting you respond to mood panel entries, announcements, player profiles, papers, and even NPC battles. Reactions are anonymous to other players but reward evo points to both giver and receiver.
Older reactions fade with time, and you can change your mind whenever you wish. Don't forget to press Ctrl+F5 to see the update.
A realm reimagined in art
Over 1,000 new item artworks have flooded into the game, covering shop role items, resources, consumables, and around 30 minigame-specific pieces. The item inventory page itself has been refreshed with a cleaner look and better functionality.
You can now upload custom inventory pictures or auto-generate artwork for your items at 1 credit each.
Comings and goings
Eggdar has been promoted to Mur's personal assistant. Expect new lands, scenes, and expansions to follow.
Meanwhile, Game Master Chewett is stepping back; contact Mur directly for GM matters. All A25 powertools have been recalled as changes brew behind the curtain.
Justice and reminders
Auction house abusers Else and Death Ray have been penalized. A reminder too: permanent quests remain permanent.
Tag a GM if the creator is absent. Read requirements carefully; enforcement is tightening.
The mists are shifting. New art, new features, new leadership.
