Ferion

Ferion is a free, browser-based, persistent-galaxy space-strategy MMO where you start from a single homeworld and expand across a galaxy of thousands of stars. Each match runs as a finite 2-3 week arena with a real winner, a rendered galaxy timelapse at the end, and strictly no pay-to-win.

Expansion and economy

You begin with a single homeworld and expand across a galaxy of thousands of stars. Colonize planets, grow your economy, and climb a deep branching tech tree as your empire spreads outward.

Warships, fleets, and covert war

Ferion lets you design custom warships from the hull up in the ship designer. You command fleets in ship-to-ship battles and orbital bombardments while fighting a shadow war with leveling spies who steal tech and sabotage rivals.

Diplomacy and empire management

You can forge alliances and diplomacy, or betray them, as the match develops. Ministers can also be appointed to shape your empire.

Megastructures and match structure

Beyond expansion and war, you can build megastructures like ringworlds. Every match is a finite arena that ends with a real winner and a rendered galaxy timelapse to close it out.
