Grid 2045

The year is 2045. Artificial intelligence has taken over the world, and humanity lives on in the ruins. You are one of the last survivors, and your story starts in a dark cave with a few litres of water, a little food and a scrap machete.

Every hour you spend scavenging, training or resting makes you a little stronger, whether you're watching or not. The game keeps going even when you're logged out, so progress continues in real time.

Plan your day

Set up a schedule of up to 24 hours and let your survivor do the work. Scavenge the ruins through the night, sleep to get your energy back, then train strength or agility in the morning.

The game shows what each activity gives and costs per hour, so you can plan smart and come back to real progress.

Hunt the machines

Ten types of robots roam the ruins, from fast scout drones and swarming drones to armored troopers, sentry turrets and the elite Titans. Each one has its own strengths and weaknesses.

Before you strike, you see the robot's stats, what it might drop and a forecast of how the fight could go. Pick a precise flank or a heavy strike, use a syringe when things get rough, or flee if the fight turns against you.

Use the robot filter to hunt exactly the levels you want.

Gear, supplies and storage

Collect weapons, armor, gadgets and syringes. Equip your gear, fill your backpack and store the rest in your cave depot.

Out in the ruins, you only have what you carry. Keep an eye on your water and food, because thirst and hunger take their toll.

Stats, rankings and player pages

GRID 2045 is built for players who love numbers. Follow your own progress in detail and climb the leaderboards for level, XP, strength, agility and robots destroyed.

See who's on top in total, or over the last day, week and month. Compare yourself with survivors all over the world, or narrow it down to your own country and region.

Every survivor has a player page with their achievements and their rank in every category.

What comes next

The machines are everyone's enemy, and the game is heading towards fighting them together. Coming next are seven continents with their own character, Project Ikaros, a giant weapon every player helps build, huge Goliath bosses that everyone fights together, and groups for sharing resources and protecting each other.
